BACKGROUND
In line with transformation, Northern Tranvaal Table Tennis Union (NTTTU), which was established during the 1950’s, changed its name to Gauteng North Table Tennis Board (GNTTB) in 1991, as an affiliate to the South African Table Tennis Board (SATTB).
VISION
We want to become the leading table tennis region in Southern Africa, by embracing the passion for the sport in developing, not only quantitative, but also quality players, through equality.
MISSION
Irrespective of race, gender and disability, we want to develop table tennis, amongst all passionate players from all backgrounds, within the borders of the Gauteng North region. Not only do we want to have as many people possible playing our sport, we also want to produce club, national and international players of which we and the rest of South Africa can be proud of. Furthermore we want to contribute in the social upliftment of many disadvantaged people, including all those with disabilities, in our region. Table tennis is a perfect sport for bringing communities together.
